July 19 – [Saturday] – It’s Midland’s city-wide garage sale.  More than 200 garage sales have been scattered throughout the city of Midland in past years.


July 19-20 [Saturday-Sunday] – This weekend is the Roscommon Riverfest. Bring the family out to Wallace Park and enjoy fun for all ages.

July 20 – [Sunday] – Come to the Gladwin Fairgrounds for a night of praise of worship with 2nd Mile and Lynn Morgan. Event starts at 6 p.m. A love offering will be taken to raise money for The New Dawn Shelter. Admission is free.


July 20 – [Sunday] – Spend the afternoon at the Sanford Moose Lodge and enjoy good food and great country music from 1-6pm. Proceeds will go to The American Cancer Society. Come on out and show your support. 


July 21 – [Monday] – Gladwin County Fair is proud to present the Classic Car Cruise and Auto Burn Out. Lineup will start at 5:30, and the cruise begins at 6:30, followed by the burnout in front of the grandstand.

August 23 – [Saturday] – It’s the first ever Gladwin County ORV Poker Run. Anyone with an ATV, motorcycle, Jeep, or dune buggy can participate, as long as they have a current ORV sticker. The event will start at 9am at the Gladwin County Fairgrounds.


August 23 – [Saturday] – Everyone is invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Horseshoe Tournament for Missions at the Countryside United Brethren Church in Breckenridge. Registration is $10, and begins at Noon. The tournament begins at 1:45 sharp.


August 31 – [Sunday] Is the deadline to pre-register for the Sanford Founders Day Celebration Car Show. The event will be held Saturday, September 6 at Sandford Park. The pre-registration fee is $10. Proceeds go to local children’s charities.


September 6 – [Satuday] – Come on out to the Sanford Founders Day Celebration Car Show at Sanford Park. Registration is from 8am-11am, and the registration fee is $12. Trophies will be presented at 3pm.
